LAHORE: Bahria Town chairman Malik Riaz and MCR Pvt Ltd managing director Aqeel Hassan have signed a contract to open several branches of Burger King, Thank God Its Friday (TGIF) and Pizza Hut in Rawalpindi and Lahore Bahria Towns. The chairman said Bahria Town had always aimed to provide world class housing solutions and amenities. “We feel honoured to have been chosen to collaborate with global corporate giants,” he said. This would also provide employment to hundreds across the country, he said. According to the initial agreement, three outlets would be opened in the Lahore and Rawalpindi Bahria Towns. A Burger King and Pizza Hut will be opened in Rawalpindi Bahria Town, adjacent to Bahria Town supermarket Greenvalley, in the Intellectuals Village. A branch of TGIF, Burger King and Pizza Hut will be opened in Bahria Town’s movie theatre The Arena in Phase-4 Bahria Town Rawalpindi. A branch of Burger King and Pizza Hut will be opened near Greenvalley supermarket in Lahore Bahria Town.
