Urban development: Faisalabad to have 4 new abattoir

DCO Noorul Amin Mengal says Rs50 million will be spent on the construction of each slaughter house.

FAISALABAD: District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal on Monday announced to set up state-of-the-art slaughter houses in the four towns of the city. He was chairing a meeting at his office. The DCO directed local administration to chalk out a viable strategy to execute the slaughter house projects on immediate basis. He also directed officials concerned to designate two to three acres of land in all the four towns for the slaughter houses. He said Rs50 million would be spent on the construction of each slaughter house. He said these facilities would be equipment with modern technology.
