A compilation of the best looks of the night.

The 56^th Annual Grammy Awards, the Oscars of the music industries, had stars both old and new step out in their high heels and floor length gowns. Here are some of our favourite looks of the night!

Taylor Swift



Chainmail. Taylor Swift is wearing chainmail and she still looks elegant. We can’t get over this Gucci Premiere gown. Also, note that the singer has shied away from her usual red pout and has opted for a softer pink. We like!

Ciara



The mother-to-be shows off her baby bump in this figure-hugging  Emilio Pucci number. She’s positively glowing! We love the intricate sequin work and that dishevelled faux bob puts the whole look together.

Colbie Caillat



The Bubbly singer has been out of the spotlight for quite a while now, but this red hot Ezra Santos gown has her setting our fashion radar off! Sleek, pulled back hair, minimal accessories and make-up, and that asymmetrical cut. Perfection.

Kelly Osbourne



The newly-single Fashion Police host looks regal in this fitted Badgley Mischa gown. Shoulder detailing, a train and fingers adorned with multiple rings, Osbourne manages to look both elegant and punk. How does she do it? Maybe it’s that fabulous hair.

Katy Perry



Cute and quirky! Perry’s Valentino dress pays ode to her career and is decorated with musical notes. She looks super cute, and her hair and make-up are both very elegant. A refreshing look from the Roar hit-maker.
