The Sindh High Court (SHC) reissued a notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairperson Imran Khan on a Rs5 billion defamation suit moved by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement for allegedly involving MQM and its chief Altaf Hussain in the murder of PTI leader Zahra Shahid Hussain.
Zahra was shot dead by unidentified assailants outside her Defence residence on May 18 - right after her party emerged as a political stakeholder in the May 11 general election in Karachi. The MQM and its leader Farooq Sattar had filed the suit in SHC against the character assassination of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain by Imran Khan, who in his reported statements, alleged that MQM and its chief Altaf Hussain were directly involved in the killing of the PTI leader.
The court was pleaded to direct the PTI chairperson to tender an unconditional apology to the MQM chief and other party leaders and pay Rs5 billion as damages for making defamatory remarks against the MQM.
On July 25, 2013, the SHC bench had issued a notice to the PTI and its chief, asking them to file their replies to the allegations made in the suit and may also file documents, if any, to defend themselves.
When the bench took up the matter recently, it learnt that no reply has been filed. The bench repeated its notice to PTI and Imran Khan with direction to file comments by February 28.

What a loft, biased and subjective comment, one NA and two PA seats does mean having political presence, does not signify becoming a stakeholder
so now its better for u to pay the damage and seek for unconditional apology u seems to be looser here again
Politics is more to do with brains than brawn, PTI may have realized that or perhaps not
