Defense Minister Khawaja Asif was in the secretariat's block C, and had been receiving threats. The bomb was reported to be in either block A, B, C or D of the complex.
At 8am the defence minister's office received a call saying there would be a bomb attack.
The Bomb Disposal Squad has reached the location and is searching the area.
The parking area is also being checked and all vehicles, except those of the secretary and deputy secretary, are being stopped outside. All private guards are being asked not to enter the building.
The green belt is also being checked and a large contingent of the police has been called to the location.
This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.

There shouldn't be "exceptions". No one is above the law. If not done by government itself to justify certain actions to be taken soon, what if one of the secretary is involved. If there were no exceptions, most likely we as a nation wouldn't be going through the these situations today.
It is the in thing these days to claim security extra ordinary. Who would in his or her right mind would threaten a nobody like this man.
