A powerful explosion in a white Mehran inside a motor workshop in Scheme Chowk, Kohat Road killed six people on January 23.
Initial investigation report on the blast revealed that the vehicle used in the explosion was said to be found by police on the PAF Road two days prior to the explosion.
The police impounded the vehicle when they were informed that it had been abandoned. The vehicle was impounded without any checks by the BDS and was later taken to the workshop.
Police said that the explosive material might have been planted in the car to hit another target in Peshawar but accidentally detonated inside the workshop.
At least 25 kilogrammes of high-intensity explosives were used in the attack.

Can't blame the cop. You can't send each and every car to BDS. As it is BDS is understaffed and underfunded.
ET i hope that you also report that police officer was sacked
