Crime: Robbers loot Rs4.5m from bank

Four armed robbers looted Rs4.5 million from a private bank in Doltala in broad daylight on Wednesday. According to the local police the masked robbers wearing burqas entered the bank in Bhangali Gujar around 1pm on Wednesday and held the entire staff hostage at gunpoint. They locked them in a room and made away with millions of rupees. The robbers also beat up and injured a guard by hitting him with pistol butts when he offered resistance to them. The police registered a case but no arrests or recoveries have been made so far.
