The stunning Deena Rehman.

If you want to know how to rock a pair of jeans and knotted t-shirt, take a cue from Deena Rahman. The talented young designer and protégé of HSY looks smashing in a casual outfit at the launch of YOC’A’s designer furniture. She is a picture-perfect representation of this year’s hottest fashion trends. From the knotted top to the ear cuffs, there is no doubt that the woman is fashionably aware. Here is a lowdown on how you can flaunt a similar look:

It is quite evident that Deena hasn’t made much of an effort on her hair, but when you have such luscious long waves then you don’t really need to. Just get out of your bed, run your fingers through your hair and sweep them to one side. In case your locks suffer from ‘dead straight hair syndrome’, apply a small amount of Toni & Guy’s beach curl spray (Rs1,300) to get a similar bed-head effect.

We love blood red lips and nail colour, especially in the winter. Try out Maybelline’s Colour Sensational Vivids lipstick in On Fire Red shade (Rs1,200) and OPI’s Chick Flick Cherry nail colour for those fiery nails. For flawless skin like hers, apply Body Shop’s All-in-One BB cream (Rs1,800) and enhance those lovely eyes by lining them with ARTDECO’s high precision eye-liner (Rs800) and Maybelline’s Colossal Volume Mascara (Rs800).

That electric blue knotted top must have transferred some high voltage current across the event because it is smokin’ hot! She has paired the trendy top with dark skinnies. For a similar top check out Mango (Rs3,500) or Mantra (Rs3,000) or you can even surf the internet for trendy online shops as these may be a rare find in local malls. Zainab Market is your best bet for a long-lasting pair of skinny jeans.

Accessories and Shoes

It was definitely a smart choice to pair the striking, bright-coloured outfit with nude suede pumps. Check out Charles and Keith (Rs6,000) or Pedro (Rs7,500) for a similar pair. Following the latest trend, Deena is flaunting an eye-catching pair of ear cuffs that we are simply drooling over. In fact, Deena is credited for creating this trend through her debut show at the PFDC Bridal Week, last year. Head out to those silver jewellery stands at your nearest mall to get your hands on them.
