Cycle of violence: Three men killed, three bodies found

Police collected fingerprints, sent them to National Database and Registration Authority.

KARACHI: A police inspector and a political worker were among the three people killed on Monday while the bodies of three young men were also found in district East. A 40-year-old police ASI, Kamran Naqvi, was shot dead in Chakra Goth, Korangi. The deceased had joined the police force about 23 years ago and was posted to the intelligence wing of Mithadar police station before his death. Separately, a worker of the Pakistan Peoples Party, 32-year-old Noor Khan, son of Mian Gul Jan, was shot dead in MPR Colony in Orangi Town. Inquiry officer SI Abdul Sattar said that the deceased lived in Banaras. He used to supply diesel and hailed from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. In another incident, Muhammad Saleem, 35, was shot dead in Daryabad in Lyari. Kalri police said unidentified armed gangsters killed him, adding that the deceased had no affiliation with any political party or any gangs. Meanwhile, the bodies of three young men were found near Baba Wilayat Shah shrine. Sharafi Goth SHO Ikhlaq Ahmed said that the police have collected fingerprints and sent them to the National Database and Registration Authority.
