Drive-by shooting: Gunmen injure Afghan national

Unidentified motorcyclists open fire at him near Takhta Baig check post in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency.

JAMRUD: An Afghan national was injured when unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at him near Takhta Baig check post in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency. An official of the political administration said Rafiullah was en route to Jamrud Bazaar when masked men approached him on a motorcycle. He added the gunmen opened fire and injured Rafiullah before escaping the scene. The official revealed khasadar officials who were near the site of the incident rushed to the area and shifted the injured to a local hospital where his condition was said to be stable.
