According to initial details, Shabbir Awan and his driver Ghulam Abbas were returning from a poultry farm when they came under attack.
The attackers were hiding in the area and opened indiscriminate firing on Awan’s car.
The number of attackers is not known so far.
Ten years ago, a murder case was filed against Awan, however, he was declared innocent by the court.
