Tip off: Suspect linked to banned outfit arrested
He was moved to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
ISLAMABAD:
Security agencies claimed to have arrested a suspected terrorist allegedly linked to a banned outfit from the federal capital. The arrest was made on Wednesday from near the capital’s industrial area, according to sources. Local police claimed they were unaware of the incident and could not confirm it, indicating that the intelligence agencies might have conducted the operation to arrest the suspect on their own. The suspect, identified as Lutfullah, belongs to Swat, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the sources said. It was unclear whether Lutfullah was working as a “handler” or a “facilitator”. He was moved to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
