Twice in two months: Blast at ANP office damages building

LAKKI MARWAT: The main gate and boundary wall of Awami National Party’s (ANP) tehsil office was partially damaged in Serai Naurang, Lakki Marwat when a bomb planted near the building exploded on Thursday. No casualties were reported in the incident. Serai Naurang police SHO Gul Hamid Khan said the incident took place at around 7:30pm, adding no one was present in the building at the time. Khan said police officials rushed to the area and launched a search operation, maintaining the sound of the blast reverberated far and created panic among residents. On November 20 last year, unidentified militants attacked the same building by hurling a hand grenade.
