PESHAWAR: There could be more than three terrorists involved in the bomb blast in the Tableeghi Markaz in Peshawar, the investigation report of the blast revealed, Express News reported on Friday.

The report, prepared by police, stated that more than 15,000 people were present at the mosque at the time of the blast.

“A second bomb was recovered from the site of the blast, which had been planted so that maximum casualties would have taken place,” the report added.

On January 16, a timed bomb had exploded in the preaching centre on Charsadda Road during the  'Shab-e-Juma’, killing at least nine people and injuring over 60 others.

The bomb, planted in a can of cooking oil, had occurred inside the main hall of the two-storey mosque during Maghrib prayers. The terror attacks were not immediately claimed by any group.

The Bomb Disposal Squad and police had revealed that explosives weighing around five to six kilogrammes were used in the explosion.

Tableeghi Jamat is a pacifist religious seminary. They don't support militants or preach their followers to hate anybody.

@Umer: I have been to this center a couple of times. This is a very peaceful place and tablegi jumat has never been involved in violant activities or politics. They stay away from both. I differ with them in their intrepertation of islam and how they preach it but this is so so so sad. Attack on such peaceful people who want good for all and bad for none. Its so so sad
