PAF maintain fourth place in PPFL

Team downs Baloch FC 3-1 in 13th win of season.

KARACHI: Of the three Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) matches played in Lahore on Thursday, PAF emerged as the sole winners while the rest of the encounters ended in a draw.

PAF defeated Baloch FC 3-1 at Battle X Ground with Amir Khan scoring the opening goal in the 36th minute of the match. Irfan Ali doubled the score three minutes later as PAF led 2-0 at the interval.

Baloch FC replied with Muhammad Asif’s goal in the 49th minute, but Imran Mustaq scored another goal to seal the win for PAF.

This was PAF’s 13th win of the season. According to the points table provided by the Pakistan Football Federation, PAF continue in fourth place with 46 points after 25 matches.

Baloch FC remain at the bottom 15th position and are facing relegation.

Meanwhile, NBP held table toppers KESC in a goalless draw and HBL also contained Wapda in a goalless match.
