Agriculture: Denmark-Pakistan to increase cooperation

Danish agriculture companies are interested in showcasing their agricultural products in Pakistan, said Sorenson.

Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research (MNFSR) Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan has said that the mutually beneficial areas of cooperation in the agricultural sector can be explored to further enhance coordination between Pakistan and Denmark.


The federal minister said this during a meeting with Jesper Moller Sorenson, Ambassador of Denmark in Pakistan, when the latter called on the minister in Islamabad. The minister said that there was great scope of cooperation in agricultural research institutes of both countries.


During the course of the meeting, Sorenson noted that Danish agriculture companies were interested in undertaking joint ventures with agri-private sectors of Pakistan in the dairy sector. Sorenson further added, “Danish agriculture companies are interested in organising an exhibition show in Pakistan showcasing their agricultural products.”
