Manuel Pellegrini has vowed that Manchester City will do their utmost to achieve an unprecedented quadruple by winning all four competitions they are in this season, according to ESPN.
Pellegrini accepts it will be very difficult to triumph in the Premier League, the FA Cup, the Capital One Cup and the Champions League but believes his side are developing the winning mentality required. “It’s very difficult but we will try,” he said.
“During the season with injuries and the amount of games we have to play, it’s very difficult and that’s why no one has done it before. But you must have the mentality to at least try to do it and that’s what we’re trying to do at this moment.”
