QUETTA:
Frontier Corps on Monday recovered anti-Pakistan literature and maps of a ‘free Balochistan’ during a raid at the Atta Shad Degree College, Turbat.
Addressing a press conference FC spokesperson Khan Abdul Wasay confirmed that anti-Pakistan books, magazines, articles, leaflets, pamphlets, maps and flags were found during the raid.
“Baloch students were brainwashed and instigated to carry out terror activities in the country,” he added. “Literature about a separate Baloch land and about Indian leaders Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru was recovered.”
Wasay said that the books were printed in Karachi and some ‘neighbouring countries’. “The FC conducted the raid after being tipped off that Degree College is being used for anti-state activities,” he said. The FC spokesperson said no arrests have been made so far and investigations were ongoing.
