Accolade for Express Media: Shahzeb Khanzada rated best anchor
Many personalities paid tribute to Khanzada and congratulated him on the achievement.
KARACHI:
Express News’ famous anchorperson Shahzeb Khanzada on Sunday received the Best Anchorperson Award for 2013, in a ceremony organised by Pakistan Media Awards at Expo Centre Karachi. Khanzada, who hosts the popular show ‘To The Point’, received this award for his investigative report on the tragic murder of a young man Shahzeb Khan by a group of influential people. The main culprit in the case, Shahrukh Jatoi, had fled to Dubai and his family was not giving the details about his whereabouts. However Khanzada, in one of his shows, interviewed Jatoi’s father, which changed the direction of the case and later led to his arrest and conviction. At the occasion, many personalities paid tribute to Khanzada and congratulated him on the achievement.
