Speeding: Railway official killed in hit-and-run

BAHAWALPUR: A man was killed when he was hit by a van in Bahawalpur on Sunday. Saddar police said the deceased, Malook Ahmad, 23, a resident of Samasatta Town Committee, was a railway official. On Sunday, police said Ahmad was deployed at Railway Crossing 154 near Bahawalpur when he was hit by a speeding van. Police said Ahmad died on the spot. The driver of the van fled the scene, police said.
