LAHORE: Nurses at Jinnah Hospital stopped working on Saturday  after an argument between a doctor and a nurse ending in manhandling of the latter. Witnesses told The Express Tribune the doctor was an office bearer of the Young Doctors Association. The Tribune learnt that the nurses have refused to resume duties until the doctor apologises.  The health secretary has constituted a committee to look into the matter and file a report within 12 hours.  Separately, nurses and doctors were negotiating independently to solve the issue.
