House robbery: Armed men take away cash, jewellery

Police says men broke into Syed Naseer Shah’s house and robbed the residents of 20 tolas of gold and Rs200,000.

SAHIWAL: Five armed robbers took away cash and jewellery from a house in Saat Shumali on Thursday. Police said the men broke into Syed Naseer Shah’s house on Thursday morning and robbed the residents of 20 tolas of gold and Rs200,000. Later, dozens of residents protested against police for their failure to control the law and order situation.  The protest ended when police assured the m that the suspects soon and the matter would be dealt with in accordance with the law.
