Road Accident: 13 including a minor girl injured

MIANWALI: Thirteen people were injured in two separate road accidents in Mianwali on Wednesday. Rescuers said 12 passengers including three women and a three-year-old girl were injured when two passenger vans collided near Dhak Pahari at Mianwali-Talagang Road on Wednesday.  They said Fatima and her father, Asif, had been taken to a hospital in Rawalpindi where their condition was later reported to be critical. They said the driver of one of the coaches, Nadeem Akhtar, was also injured in the accident. Separately, two men were injured in a road accident when a bus collided with a van in Mianwali. Rescuers said the driver of the bus and a passenger, Imran, were taken to tehisil headquarters hospital. They said Imran’s condition was later reported to be critical.
