Muslim FC challenged KESC in the first-half through various attempts at the goal, while KESC suffered from the absence of their Nigerian striker Oludeyi Abayomi, who was suspended due to a double yellow card in an earlier match.
Despite the result, KESC maintain top position with 46 points and Muslim FC remain in sixth place with 37 points.
In another match, HBL dominated as they stunned NBP 2-0.
Both teams played a goalless first-half but in the second session, HBL’s Khayal Muhammad goal gave his a 1-0 lead on a penalty-kick in the 48th minute. Akhtar Hussain then went on to seal victory for HBL in the 58th minute.
HBL replaced KPT in ninth position with 30 points, while NBP slumped to the 10th spot in the league with 27 points.
