Spate of violence: Police official hurt in grenade attack

Law enforcement officials have launched a search operation to find the suspects.

QUETTA: A police official was injured in a grenade attack on the city’s Satellite Town police station. Unidentified armed men hurled a hand grenade at the station as they drove by on a motorcycle. Law enforcement officials have launched a search operation to find the suspects. Additionally, unidentified armed men shot dead a man in Zhob district’s Killi Islam Yar area. Police also arrested a man who was shot in Quetta’s Pashtoonabad area after he attempted to steal a motorcycle at gunpoint at Taro Chowk. The man opened fire at a police patrol and officials retaliated. A pistol and rounds were recovered from the man after his arrest.
