Fowl play: Three flamingos stolen from Laal Sohanra Park

Three flamingos were stolen from Laal Sohanra National Park on Sunday. Children’s Park in charge Rao Sarwar Ali filed a complaint with the Laal Sohanra police check post in this regard on Monday.


Ali said Sher Muhammad, a resident of Basti Mail, Muhammad Fayaz, Irshad Karnani, a resident of Abbasnagar, Siddique and Danish Rafique, a resident of Multan, stole three flamingos worth Rs120,000 from the park.

Ali said Riaz, who was on duty at that time, had told him about the theft. Ali said when he reached there the criminals had fled. Ali said Ghulam Qadir, a guard, had helped the men steal the birds.

Abbasnagar police registered the case on Ali’s complaint.

Laal Sohanra police check post in charge Muhammad Afzal told the media that they were looking for the criminals.
