Crackdown: Explosives, stolen motorcycle recovered

The Timergara Police recovered 15 kilogrammes of explosive and a 60-metre-long safety fuse in a raid.

TIMERGARA: The Timergara police recovered 15 kilogrammes of explosive and a 60-metre-long safety fuse in a raid, and also nabbed several suspected militants. Lower Dir DPO Ghulam Habib Khan, while talking to reporters, said the operation was conducted in Timergara and its adjacent areas on recent public complaints against motorcycle theft. A special team constituted to nab the motorcycle thieves arrested Noorul Hassan, and allegedly recovered a stolen bike from his possession. Khan said Hassan confessed to his crime and also provided information on other members of his outfit after which police nabbed Asadullah and Bilal. Khan added that police recovered 14 motorcycles from their possession, and both of them also confessed to having stolen them in a local court. He further informed that the explosives and safety fuse were recovered from Ameer Khan and Saleh Muhammad who were arrested.
