PESHAWAR:

The provincial leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) said on Monday they will not be allying with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for the local bodies polls.

PPP Provincial President Khanzada Khan, General Secretary Humayun Khan, Information Secretary Liaqat Shabab and other party leaders were speaking at the Peshawar Press Club. They said the party is ready for local government elections and will not repeat their past mistakes.

The provincial leadership is ready for any accountability for their five-year rule in the country, said Khanzada. Khanzada strongly criticised the PTI-led provincial government, saying “the people of the province have been deceived by tall slogans of change.”

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will soon be visiting the province as he has said he stands firm to protect its people from the scourge of terrorism, added Khanzada.

PPP is dark past of our country. It has glory in ZAB but lost its luster and purpose to lust of money and power of Zardari & Sons. No more of family politics
