Snooker: Aziz, Qadir to compete in Sindh Cup final

Khizar Aziz and Zulfiqar Qadir reached the final of the 22nd Sindh Cup Snooker Tournament with big wins at the Aly’s Palour in Karachi on Sunday.


Aziz overcame Aneel John 5-4 in the first semi-final of the day while Zulfiqar outclassed third seed Muhammad Ishtiaq 5-0 to book his place in the final.


The cueists also competed in the quarter-finals earlier in the day. Aziz defeated Sohail Shehzad 5-3, while John outplayed Meesam Zaidi 5-2. Ishtiaq defeated Salman Shaikh 5-1 and Qadir won against Tahir Majeed 5-4.
