Moratorium Continues: Man gets death penalty for murder
Pronouncing the verdict, which was previously reserved, the judge further ordered them to pay Rs200,000 as the fine.
KARACHI:
With the moratorium continuing on capital punishment, a local court awarded death penalty to a murderer and life imprisonment to his accomplices in a murder case. Additional district and sessions judge, West, found Muhammad Ramzan along with the co-accused, Akbar and Irfan, guilty of murdering Muhammad Saleem within the limits of Baldia police station in 2007. Pronouncing the verdict, which was previously reserved, the judge further ordered them to pay Rs200,000 as the fine.
