Delegation visit: DHA residents complain of high fee

The administration pointed out that the charges are levied for security of the plots.

KARACHI: A representative delegation of Defence Society Residents Association, led by its president Justice (retd) Saeeduz Zaman Siddiqui, visited DHA’s main office and held a meeting with its administrator Brig Muhammad Abdullah. The delegation was of the view that non-utilisation fee imposed by DHA on vacant plots was high and should be minimised. The administration pointed out that the charges are levied for security of the plots. The practice also encourages people to build their houses and not leave the plots vacant for a long time.
