Netball: Sindh clinch women’s title

Sindh’s Quratul Ain was the highest scorer with 19 goals.

Hosts Sindh clinched the 12th National Women’s Netball Championship title after defeating Higher Education Commission (HEC) 24-13 in Hyderabad on Wednesday.


Sindh’s Quratul Ain was the highest scorer with 19 goals, while Aisha, Nayab Razia, Fatima and Anmol also performed well to ensure victory for their team.


Sindh took the gold medal and the trophy as HEC bagged the silver medal; Army secured third position when they defeated Punjab 23-14.


With Sindh, HEC, Army and Punjab holding the top four positions, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Islamabad were ranked on the fifth, sixth and seventh places respectively.
