Giordano is the latest addition to the quickly growing list of international brands opening up in Karachi. The store’s launch was an engaging affair, which took place on December 21, 2013 at Dolmen Mall, Clifton. Featuring a red carpet with celebrities, and a fashion show that included toddlers as models, the event did justice to Giordano’s international brand image.

Organised by Production 021, VJ Anoushey Ashraf hosted the event with great fervour, keeping the audience engaged. The choreography for the fashion show was done by Nabeel Shaukat while Sabs  Salon took charge of celebrity makeovers in particular.

Giordano Pakistan is the first retail venture of Retail Avenue Pvt Ltd. There are currently two Giordano outlets in Karachi, located at Dolmen Mall Clifton and Dolmen Mall Hyderi. The company forecasts an expansion for the brand in Pakistan, with plans to open a number of stores nationwide in the next two years.

The brand originated in Hong Kong in 1981 and over the years, has developed into one of the world’s leading international retailers of men, women and children’s apparel and accessories. The brand, which is featured as a case study on brand success for the renowned Harvard Business School, has grown tremendously, with over 2,800 stores and counters in over 40 countries in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

Their Fall/Winter collection offers a wide range of polo shirts, including their best-selling Lion Polo, which is available in a variety of colours and sizes. Staying true to its global policy, Giordano Pakistan offers additional services to its customers, such as exchanges and free alterations.

Gap, Banana Republic etc. are far better brands than "Giordano." Those brands are everywhere in Dubai too so should venture into Pak as well.
