Dr Zaman defeated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Gohar Ayub in the general elections, who later challenged the results. Dr Zaman emerged as the winner after the recount on all 437 stations of the constituency.
Ayub, however, moved the Supreme Court and sought a re-election. According to his petition, several polling bags did not have relevant voters list or counterfoils of ballot papers; indicative of rigging.
The apex court referred the case to the election tribunal which then suspended Dr Zaman’s membership and ordered a re-election on polling stations Alloli, Mamrial, Bagra Number 2, Kalinjar, Ghazi Hamlet and two polling stations of Khalabat Township.
Dr Zaman had defeated Ayub from these polling stations with a heavy margin.
The tribunal headed by Ziauddin Khattak also dismissed a petition filed by Shahid Amin Khan, a former union nazim, who sought Dr Zaman’s disqualification on the basis of concealment of assets and non-payment of taxes.

Its over Raja Amir Zaman not over PTI or Great Khan , other side rigging over PML (n ) or over Shahbaz sharif and Nawaz Sharif and over their silence not to verification of thumb impression. Dear Brothers all have the equal rights if PML gets more votes from peoples of pakistan , he have to rule , if PTI gets then its their right, no one has authority to steel the mandate of people of pakistan. if peoples of Haripur voted for Omer Ayoub , we have to respect their vote, PTI will punish Raja Amir Zaman for his rigging if founded.
Now we understand why Imran Khan was calling the most rigged elections in Pakistans history.

I am a PTI. Member. Justice must be served. Regardless it's PTI or a PPP or PML-N at the receiving end. That is the only way to save Pakistan.

This shows how supreme court is swift against PTI and on the other hand giving stay orders to those who rigged election in Lahore. Secondly, it is same thing what IK is saying that several polling stations did not have relevant voter lists... Why the delay is there?

Basically it seems the courts and the ECP will do everything except verify the four constituencies pointed out to them by the PTI!
So only one candidate from 2013 elections was found to be involved in rigging. All others were elected on merit including 160 MNAs of Pmln.

So the PML rig elections throughout Punjab and nothing is done but one PTI guy does something wrong then it is said that this is how the PTI operates. If he has done wrong-punish him but what about all the rigging in Punjab?
@Hatim: Dude considering what PTI has turned out to be, re election in Karachi will be a disaster for PTI. Karachi has rejected JI for past two decades and PTI has turned out to be really close to JI in stances.

Seems election commission officials doing bad job, little to do with the candidate involvement of rigging.
PTI has no problem with re-election, but it should be the same for others constituencies, there should not be selective approach.

You people either don't see or don't have the capacity to see things in more than just black and white. How easy is it for procedural irregularities to occur without any candidate being involved? How easy is it for the losing candidate to create irregularities and then ask for a reelection?
Is there an allegation of voter fraud? Or false votes? Or ballot box stuffing? No. This is simply voter lists not being attached or missing counter foils.
The election was flawed. By elections will be easier to rig because no one is paying attention anymore and administrative control is now firmly in the hands of the federal government.

Dr. Raja Amir Zaman enjoys real popularity among people of Haripur as he enjoys this respect from his ancestors, now why a stance of dictator's grandson seems justified to people...petty on Election 2013 where even those who got real votes are in trouble and those who have did all possible unfair means are enjoying power...
he will win again anyway from these 9 polling and with substantial margin...

@Common Pakistani it wont be ignored ... and if he has done anything wrong he should be punished...that will be PTI stance ... but do look at the fact that he has not taken any stay from a court against the tribunals decision unlike PML N candidates in Lahore including Speaker Ayaz Sadiq

At one station Farooq Sattar won 25000 votes (not rounded up. Exact!) while his next competition won zero. Until reelection doesn't take place in all of Karachi, the ECP and democracy as a whole in Pakistan is a farce. In NA250 my mother went to a polling station where after a 6 hours delay an armed man tried to steal the ballot box. He was beaten up by the public and taken away by the police.
Why only Na 19? Re polling must be done in NA 250 Karachi too because of institutionalized rigging by the election commission
It's fine if this is the real case.But what about the PML-N. Has any of their candidate been suspended till now? Justice for all not for selected people.
