Treason case: Musharraf files intra-court appeal against IHC decision
Musharraf had raised objections over the authority of the special court, appointment of judges and prosecutor.
Justice Riaz Ahmad Khan on December 23, had declared the requests inadmissible.
The ex-military strongman faces treason charges under Article 6 for suspending, subverting and abrogating the Constitution, imposing an emergency in the country in November 2007 and detaining judges of the superior courts.
The special court comprises of Justice Faisal Arab of the Sindh High Court, Justice Tahira Safdar of the Balochistan High Court and Justice Yawar Ali of the Lahore High Court.
Musharraf, when challenging the authority of the special court, had stated that he was the army chief when he introduced the 2007 emergency and a military court alone could examine his actions.

This is "topy" drama of PML(N) to divert the attention of the people of Pakistan from the grave problems which the people of this country are facing which have been increased tremendously since taking over the government by them for the last 7 months.They should come forward and tell the people why they are not iniating the case of treason against Musharrad w.e.f.12th October,1999 when their government was dismissed by him and Marshal Law was imposed by Musharraf in the country. This is a fit case against him under Article 6 of the Constitution of Pakistan. As a matter of fact these coward people do not want to do so to save themselves from retaliation and do not want to come in the forefront intentionally due to the reasons known to everybody in this country.
Musharraf is a reall leader, he has no curruption charges like current leaders but had done great development plans for Pakistan during his tenure, now PM just trying to convert people attention.
