Road safety: Child injured in accident
A 10-year-old was injured when he was hit by a van near his house.

A 10-year-old was injured when he was hit by a van near his house on Monday. The family said Umair Zafar had run out of the house to greet some guests. He was taken to district headquarters hospital where doctors later said his condition was stable. Independently, the Anjuman-i-Shahrian demanded speed-breakers in residential areas to avoid frequent accidents blamed on speeding.
