The towering wall which cordons off Bilawal House has been criticised for hampering life in the area. The campaign's official page states this wall was declared illegal by the Sindh High Court in September this year and the demolition campaign is scheduled for Sunday.
Soon after PTI made the announcement, Jibran Nasir shared his criticisms of the campaign on social media.
Jibran wrote a note on Facebook, which stated that he was "disappointed in PTI." He drew a comparison between the barricade and Awab Alvi's new dental clinic, which he alleges is being constructed illegally in a residential area.
He went on to say that if PTI is a party that "strives for justice" they should be fair and demolish the clinic as well. Awab Alvi tweeted back at Jibran Nasir but did not directly respond to the allegations.
@MJibranNasir you're welcome to find ANY excuse to attack PTI

But Did the wall issue step on a sensitive nerve? ;)
@MJibranNasir go have a look what's there?
— Awab Alvi (@DrAwab) December 27, 2013
In response, PTI MNA Dr Arif Alvi, who is also Awab Alvi's father, wrote on his Facebook page, "I am surprised by the reaction of our opponents. Are they defending a court declared illegal nuisance? Some are ready to die for it? Whats [sic] wrong?"
Pic of the illegal construction & it's D-32 not D-39 sorry for the typo @DrAwab #DemolishBilawalHouseWall pic.twitter.com/hjwpOtgw4c

Someone should also shed light on how FCPS trainees are treated in Dr. Alvi's Clinic
There are road blocks everywhere in Karachi - Go to an area where a political person or a significant police officer lives, you will find a road block. Now who is going to question them and force them to remove these roads that belong to the public of Pakistan and residents of that city!
Express, can you please add the feature to sort comments by recommends or time?
in Pakistan political issues uses for own benefit, if PTI or Alvis are true justice lover then they should start cleaning from their own house. Alvis are jamati back ground holder n they must have dual role in any way
May the bigger idiot win. This is no more than battle of idiocy and political immaturity. If they had the interest of Karachi at heart they would work towards making Karachi a city-state. Karachi is a city of 20 million which is poorly governed hence the illegal structures all over. If anybody is truly and genuinely interested in putting things right in Karachi they should support a local government with political, administrative and financial independence. Period.
@Uza Syed: Definitely the youthias!
So, why cant this guy Jibran agree on saying...lets demolish Bilawal House wall first and then go to court for Alvi Clinic??
@Fraudia the word u use (Alvis are nothing but frauds) my dear its really hurting to me i my self is alvi alhumdulllah the way u define alvis is disgusting i need a apology from u.
I find Jibran, cute... marriage material!
Jibran Nasir has got issues with Arif Alvi's clinic, if that clinic is constructed via illegal means then they are free to knock at Court's doors. At least clinics are for public services, what's the purpose of the wall around Bilawal house? Is it providing any relief to local masses?
@Rasheeda: Concerned forum i.e. Sindh High Court has already declared this Wall as Illegal. They only want enforcement of the decision of Honorable Sindh High Court.
If Jibran has a problem with the Dr Alvi's clinic then he should take the matter to the court. I think he is intelligent enough to know all this as he is himself a lawyer and works for a well reputed law firm.. Or is this just a publicity stunt to get some attention...
PTI just confirming thier fascist inclinations. I hope maturing youth can see it as clearly as i see it.
@Rasheeda: If it is alright for PTI and its honchos the duo of Alvis to use youthias to demolish the illegally constructed wall in/around Bilawal House the, in my view, PPP would be equally justified to send its 'jialas' to bring down the unlawfully constructed building by this combo of father & son Alvis. Show must begin and let's see which is greater evil here for us in Karachi the youthias of PTI or them pipians.
I went through a case which involved the same some time back. Some so called social activists too questioned one of my friend the legality of having a clinic within the residential area limits and hence the courts decided that there is no bar in having a clinic in the residential areas!
@Fraudia: Take the issue to court then if you believe so. Until that doesn't happen, you and your claims are "fraudia".
Yr em fed up frm these pti policies.. Wat u want yr?? Wats ur agenda?? Wats ur ideology??? I think ans frm them will b only critcisim criticism n criticism.. Bilawal got threats frm ttp.. He dares to speak against these brutal killers..he must need full security..people lik khan sb cant even speak against ttp..
Two wrongs never make one right! Encroachment of road by PPP is illegal and so is making a dental clinic in the residential area. We are against both of these encroachments. Pakistan Zindabad, PMLN Paindabad.
I remember Jibran Nasir was a candidate in NA-250 too (against PTI's Arif Alvi). Does anyone know how many votes he got? Even if Avab Alvi's clinic is illegal, how come it justifies Bilawal's china wall Mr Nasir?
And this is news....why?
I do know that if you get special permission from the revelant authorities, you can build a commercial operation in a residential area. If anyone from karachi has seen where restaurants like xanders and cafe koel are, they will underrstand my point as these restaurants share boundaries with peoples homes and aren't illegal. It could be the dental clinic is illegal, but jibran doesn't seem to have any proof if it is or not.
Awab Alvi and Arif Alvi are abetting PTI youth for vandalism. If they have a problem with the wall then they should go to police or the concerned departments for the implementation of the law. Who are PTI leaders and followers to take law in their hands?
"Awab Alvi’s new dental clinic, which he alleges is being constructed illegally in a residential area." Wow, simply ridiculous, bring the case to the court, if the court says it is illegal, well, it will be demolished, no big deal. The way Jibran dealt with this issue is simply ridiculous.
my relatives lives in Clifton and they facing problems due to illegal wall of Bilawal House. Anybody who has seen what PPP Jiyalas have done to the area approaching Bilawal House would support the idea of bringing those obstacles down. It's simply depriving people in the vicinity a normal access to their homes / workplaces. Even better; bulldoze the Bilawal House!
Awab Alvi has been quietened by Jibran. There's a reason he cannot respond to such a basic question because he and his father's livelihood is at stake. He simply says 'go see what's there'.
Well I went there and it is Alvi Dental Clinic a commercial operation opening in a residential area.
Alvis should stop pointing fingers at AZ (although believe you me, I am the first person to advocate bringing down those barriers at Bilawal house. It is such a problem for me to get to work) but Alvis must clean their house first. I will then back PTI fully.
Alvis are nothing but frauds enjoying the fame because of Imran Khan.
He does nothing other than criticizing PTI, in recent days he has been mingling more with MQM people. Anything to do with that?
Sucking up to PPP .. Disappointing
While I've no objection to removing / demolishing any encroachments, illegal construction, of a wall any where including Bilawal House or its equivalent anywhere else in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore whatever. However, the duo of these Alvi father & son just can not get away, should be allowed to get away by illegal construction of a private clinic anywhere on any unauthorised area / land. This also must be demolished by the same people who do the good deed of demolishing that 'wall' around Bilawal House.
