Security concerns: Nisar maps out Balochistan plan
Interior Minister Nisar says govt will discourage policy of arming any particular party or faction in name of security
ISLAMABAD:
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that the government would discourage the policy of arming any particular party or faction in the name of security in Balochistan and armed groups created by the previous governments would be disarmed. He asserted that the federal government would provide all necessary strength and resources to Balochistan government to further improve law and order situation, speed up the process of development and bring about an environment of peace and reconciliation in the province. He said this while talking to Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch. Both the leaders expressed satisfaction over the peaceful holding of local bodies’ elections in Balochistan and regarded it a good omen for the political future of the province. They agreed that the process of political dialogue, reconciliation and building consensus would be continued in which Balochistan’s chief minister would play a leading role.
