HYDERABAD: The police have arrested a suspect of Indian origin who was living in Hyderabad without legal travel documents. The SHO Cantonment Aijaz Lakho told APP on Friday that a FIR under section 14 of the Foreigners Act has also been registered against the suspect who identifies himself as Abu Bakar Nohrio. “He is speaking Rajasthani language so it’s difficult for us to elicit details from him until we arrange a translator,” the SHO said. According to the initial investigation, Nohrio, who appears to be 50 to 55 years- old, belongs to Bharmi village in Sheo tehsil of the bordering Barmer district in Rajasthan. “He claims that he mistakenly crossed the border but it is difficult to believe it’s a mistake as Hyderabad is far away from Tharparkar,” Lakho said.
