KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday condemned the extrajudicial murder of three men, whose bodies were found in Karachi on Monday.

The victims were identified as Noman, Javed alias 'Bunda' and Saleem aka 'Kabari', on Tuesday.

In a statement, MQM claimed the individuals were affiliated with the party and had been arrested by law enforcement authorities a few days ago. Noman's wife had also filed a petition in the Sindh High Court against his arrest.

MQM called upon Chief Justice of Pakistan Tassaduq Jillani and the Prime Minister and President to take notice of the extrajudicial killings.

According to police, the victims had been subjected to torture before being shot.

Their bullet riddled bodies were found with their hands tied and blindfolds over their eyes.

Noman and Saleem lived in Qasba Colony while Javed lived in Orangi.

SHO Imtiaz Niazi claimed that the deceased were nominated in various cases with Javed being accused in 150 killings.

@KH: Of course they are still muhajirs. Who will you guys discriminate against otherwise? Who will be your scapegoat for everything wrong with Karachi? As for MQM, they have tried hard in the last 16 years to be Muttahida; so much that they stopped talking about quota system. But continued ethnic discrimination and slaughter of Muhajirs by Islamabad and Sindh based governments keeps the Muhajir identity alive.

@KH: "They are no mohajirs anymore."

If that was true, -quota system in job and education sector would have been abolished -Police in Karachi would not be imported, but made up of locals. -and then there is a long list..

So, wake up.
