M Imran scored five goals for Army as the team steamrollered PTV 8-1 in the ongoing 60th NBP National Hockey Championship on Saturday in Lahore.
According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Hockey Federation, three of the captain’s goals came in the first half while the latter two were scored in the 63rd and 67th minute respectively.
Army’s M Rizwan Sr contributed a brace to the total as Waqas Butt struck the lone goal for PTV.
Meanwhile, PIA beat NBP 3-2 in the second match of the day with the winnings team’s Atiq, Kashif Ali and Shafqat Rasool all successfully finding the net.
