The two-day Express Family Festival organised by the Express Media Group will open today (Saturday) at 10:30 in the morning at Karachi Expo Centre.
Exhibitors were preparing for the big day for weeks. National and multinational companies have set up elaborate stall to attract visitors. The festival promises lots of fun for the families. In the kids area there will be rides, mini-train, magic show, face painting and clowns.
Music show will start at 5:00 in the evening. Ali Haider, Jawwad Ahmed, Fakhir, Shazia Khushk, Qarar Band and V5 Band are expected to perform at the festival. Stand-up comedians including Saleem Afridi, Shakeel Siddiqi, Kashif Khan and Rauf Lala will also be there among many other artists.
The Express Group has set new records in terms of participation and visitor flow in its earlier festivals held in Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad.
The festival provides dearly needed entertainment to the people in a very secure environment. The Expo Centre administration has made elaborate security arrangements for this mega event.
Sindh Government, Rangers, police, traffic police, bomb disposal squad and district administration have deployed their personnel for the festival.
