KARACHI: Harris Nadeem maintained his fine run to capture the 7th Junior Sindh Cup Snooker Tournament 2013 after edging out Fahad Khan 5-4 in a closely contested final at the Aly’s snooker parlour on Friday.

It was a thrilling end to the competition with both cueists taking the battle to the final frame.

In the end, Nadeem emerged as the victor as he gave no chance to Fahad, comfortably winning the decisive frame 89-33 after the score was tied at 4-4.

Nadeem brilliantly fought back after he had lost the opening frames 53-66 and 57-65. He went on to secure the next two frames 82-25 and 66-19, including a 72-point break in the third one.

Fahad regained the double lead, claiming the fifth and sixth frames 66-41 and 70-38 respectively before Nadeem made another comeback to secure the next two frames by 56-43 and 44-30.
