Expansion: Bank Alfalah opens 555th branch

KARACHI:
Dhabi Holdings Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Al Nahayan and his son Sheikh Nahayan bin Mubarak inaugurated the 555th branch of Bank Alfalah in Karachi. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Bank Alfalah CEO Atif Bajwa and other senior officials, says a press release. Al Nahayan said the inauguration of the branch was a step forward towards achieving the vision of growth, development and prosperity for Pakistan’s financial services sector. Bajwa said in a short span of 16 years, the bank has become the sixth largest player in Pakistan’s financial services industry, second largest Islamic bank and the largest issuer and acquirer of credit cards in the country. He said with the expansion of retail footprint and financial solutions, the bank looked forward to building upon this growth trajectory.
