Suicide: Man shoots himself

GUJRANWALA: A man reportedly committed suicide by shooting himself in Gujranwala on Sunday.

Police said the deceased, Irshad, a resident of Ladhewala Cheema, often quarreled with his family. On Sunday, he exchanged harsh words with his wife and shot himelf.

He died on the way to a hospital. Separately, a woman reportedly attempted suicide by taking poison after a domestic dispute in Mandi Bahauddin. Rescuers said she was taken to the district hospital where her condition was later reported to be critical.
