Till the court issues its final verdict, the interim order that stayed Malik’s removal from office, will remain in effect. This will allow the NADRA chairman to remain in office till the final verdict is issued.
“The court said that the interim order, which suspended two government notifications, one removing Tariq Malik and the other appointing another chairman on acting basis, will remain in effect till the detailed judgement is released,” Malik’s lawyer told the media after proceedings concluded on Friday.
Malik's lawyer added that he had challenged all the allegations levelled against the Nadra chairman.
On December 3, Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi of the IHC suspended the notification issued by the establishment division, which ordered the suspension of NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik from his post without substantial reason. The IHC had also suspended the notification of Brig (retd) Zahid Hussain, who was appointed by the government on the same day.

Tariq Malik was on PPP Election cell in 2008 elections, appointed head of Nadra just 6 months before 2013 elections by Zardari.
Malafide Intent by whom?
It so heartening to see a proud, upright professional standing up to the thugs! We wish you the best and salute your courage.
The decision was not wrong but timing to sack Tariq Malik was wrong. Dual National should not hold this position in NADRA types.
Insisting on a mistake is more dangerous as PMLN is doing.
Here you can See PML-N performance....
One day or the other Rahman Malik's relative will also pack up and follow him to UK.
Clear malafide intent of the government. Court should restore and compensate Malik, and fine Ch. Nisar for intimidating a state official.
Media is so silent on such an important issue. Makes me wonder what their reaction would have been if PTI was involved in such an act.
