Despite setting the pace first in the match, the national team was soon stopped in its tracks by Denmark. From there on, it was a close battle between the two, resulting in a heart-breaking loss for the Pakistan women.
Although it was their maiden appearance, the players achieved a decent run in the World Cup and made it to the semi-finals.

However, the women in green managed to impress all by beating England and Mexico respectively in their group matches.
Meanwhile, their male counterparts have another chance to become world champions as they will take on India tomorrow in what would be a rematch of the third Kabaddi World Cup, where India had triumphed.
Pakistan have a perfect chance to make amends of the erstwhile defeat since they have been in good form so far. Both teams stormed into the final with an undefeated record.
