Family crime: Woman accused of killing brother-in-law

GUJRAT: A man was shot dead at his house on Tuesday by unidentified assailants. An FIR was registered as the brother of the deceased as the complainant. 

Shakeel Ahmad, a resident of Samaywala in Shehr Sultan, told police that some unidentified men entered their house in the night and shot his brother Wazir Ahmed. They fled. He said his brother died on the spot.

Shakeel, in his FIR, said he believed that his sister-in-law (elder brother’s wife) was behind the murder. He claimed that she had approached Wazir a few weeks ago for an illicit relationship, but he had turned her down.

The body was sent for a post-mortem examination. Police said they had started the investigation.
