Mairaj Khan, an official of the political administration in Landikotal, said the incident occurred around 7pm when unidentified militants detonated a bomb planted in Faraz Customs Clearance Agency.
He added at the time of the explosion one worker was present in the office but he remained unharmed. The office, however, was completely destroyed.
Following the incident, heavy contingents of khasadar and security officials rushed to the site and cordoned it off. Khan further said the bomb disposal squad reported the device had been planted in a dustbin in the office.
A case was filed against unidentified militants.
On November 21, at least 26 people were injured when a militant detonated his explosive vest inside Torkham Customs Clearance Office in Landikotal, after which the political administration claimed to have tightened security measures and deployed more khasadar officials.
