Extortion : Militants fire rockets at cement factory

LAKKI MARWAT: Rockets fired from an unknown location fell near a cement factory in Darra Pezo, Lakki Marwat district on Saturday night. Haibat Khan, an official of Dera Pezo police, said the incident occurred around 8:30pm and no casualty was reported. Unidentified militants fired two rockets on the factory, of which one landed on the ground and the other near the factory’s main plant, added Khan. After the incident, the police went to the site and searched the area. A case has been filed against unidentified assailants. This was not the first time the factory was targeted. In the past, an improvised explosive device was detonated and rockets have been fired at the building by extortionists who had asked the factory owner for money.
